General Structure

Agrinatura operates through a transparent and participatory governance structure, ensuring active member involvement in strategic decision-making.

Agrinatura, the European Alliance on Agricultural Knowledge for Development, is an association of 35 European universities and research centres from 16 European countries supporting agricultural research and development (ARD) by:

EEIG Governance

Agrinatura operates most of its business activities through Agrinatura EEIG (European Economic Interest Grouping), governed by European Regulation 2137/85 and relevant French legislation (Law 89.377 of 13 June 1989, amending Law 67.821 of 23 September 1967).

All members of the EEIG are also members of the Agrinatura Association.

Its governance is organized as follows

  1. Members Assembly – The main decision-making body of the EEIG, chaired by Agrinatura’s President who acts as the legal representative and spokesperson.
  2. Director – Responsible for project implementation, development of new business opportunities, and coordination of scientific activities.
