- Agrinatura mobilises its collective expertise and resources to address emerging global challenges in close collaboration with international partners. It promotes scientific excellence through joint research, education, and training initiatives, and advocates for increased support to agricultural research and higher education programmes contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Agrinatura actively participates in major European, regional, and global events related to Agricultural Research for Development (ARD). These engagements enable close interaction with partners and stakeholders, ensuring that Agrinatura remains responsive to the needs and expectations of the international community.
- The Alliance engages with global fora, platforms, committees, and international organisations, as well as relevant Directorates-General of the European Commission and European university networks. Since 2013, Agrinatura has been officially recognised as an observer to the Committee on World Food Security (CFS).
- Regular collaboration is maintained with regional ARD platforms in Africa, particularly the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), as well as with major international organisations such as the Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR), CGIAR, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), alongside donor agencies including International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Bank.
- Strong partnerships have been developed with FAO and the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a framework for collaboration.
- Agrinatura also contributes to major international conferences and meetings, including the GCHEERA Annual Conference, the ICA Deans and Rectors Forum, and the RUFORUM Annual General Meeting.
